Composting Your Plant Material

Join us Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 10 a.m. for a free workshop open to the public.  It is also Part 6 of a 7-part series geared towards becoming a Master Gardener℠ volunteer.  You must attend 5 workshops to be eligible to participate in the Master Gardener℠ volunteer training. It will take place at the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Scotland County, 231 E Cronly St., Suite 800, Laurinburg, NC.

Topics include:
  • Benefits of compost
  • What can and can't be composted
  • How to develop a compost pile/bin
  • Preventing odor and animal pests
