Pruning Trees and Shrubs

Join us for a free workshop open to the public Thursday, November 18, 2021, at 10 a.m.  It is also Part 7 of a 7-part series geared towards becoming a Master Gardener℠ volunteer.  You must attend 5 workshops to be eligible to participate in the Master Gardener℠ volunteer training.  The workshop will be held at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Scotland County Center located at 231 Cronly St., Suite 800, Laurinburg, NC.

  • When to prune different tree and shrub species
  • Different types of pruning cuts
  • Essential pruning equipment
  • Benefits of pruning
