Don’t Forget to Honor Your Volunteers

Are you looking for a way to recognize your volunteers for their service to your organization/agency?

Volunteers enrich our lives. They make contributions of their time, talents and skills. The Annual Volunteer Appreciation Recognition Program is coming up. Awards will be given to all nominees submitted and the top winners will receive a plaque. Nominee categories are:  Individual; Family; Group/Team; Youth; Senior; Perseverance in Volunteerism; National Service Volunteer; Outstanding Mentor; Disaster Volunteerism; Faith-Based Volunteer; Corporate Volunteerism; Lifetime Achievement; and Non-Volunteer Service Category-Director of Volunteers. Additionally, The “Kay Thomas Award” will be presented to a volunteer who made special contributions to several local organizations or agencies in memory of one of Hoke County’s most contributing volunteers.

 Nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m. on November 25, 2013. Nominations received after this date will not be considered.
