The Parents As Teachers Program (PAT) is an educational and family support program based on the philosophy that parents are their child's first and most important teachers. PAT is a home/community partnership designed to help parents acquire the knowledge and skills to give children the best possible start in life. PAT offers home visits, group meetings, developmental screenings and resource network. PAT is a voluntary program available to all citizens of Hoke County with children 0-5 years of age.
