Hoke County Light Trap Counts

         Bollworm Moth              Green Stinkbug                  Brown Stinkbug

Counts are taken on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of each week and reported to the Extension Center.  Counts taken on Wednesday and Friday are two-night counts and Monday counts are from three days.  The date listed in the chart reflects the number of bollworm moths, green stinkbugs and brown stinkbugs trapped between the dates listed on the chart.

We have been requested to track stinkbug populations in the trap.  We are also reporting those numbers as well.  Do not base any spray decisions on the stinkbug numbers.  These numbers are just to indicate the number of stinkbugs that are in the area.
